FAQ
Does Subfix work with Stripe test mode?
Yes. You can connect a Stripe test account to try everything end-to-end before going live. Test webhooks, dummy failed payments, and dunning emails all work in test mode.
Will my customers know Subfix is sending the emails?
No. Emails are sent in your business name with your brand colours. Customers see your company name in the "From" field — not Subfix.
What happens after the 14-day free trial?
You'll be prompted to enter a payment method. If you don't, your account is paused — we won't charge you and won't delete your data. You can reactivate anytime.
Does Subfix store my Stripe secret key?
Never. We connect via Stripe OAuth (Connect), which gives us a scoped access token. Your secret key stays with you and is never shared with us.
What if a customer doesn't want to receive dunning emails?
Every dunning email includes an unsubscribe link. Customers who opt out are flagged in your dashboard and won't receive further emails for that failed payment.
Can I retry a payment manually?
Yes. From your payments dashboard you can trigger an immediate retry on any failed payment at any time, regardless of the automatic retry schedule.
What currencies and regions does Subfix support?
Subfix works with any currency and region that Stripe supports. Amounts are displayed in whatever currency your customer was charged in.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, no lock-in. Cancel from your settings page and you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. No cancellation fees.
